Known to be a skin soothant, Hemimorphite is considered beneficial for skin ailments.
Considered very beneficial to brain function, including providing healing as well as helping the electrical impulses of the brain function properly.
Said to be associated with the Astrological Sign of Libra.

Scientific Properties: Composed of a complex Zinc Hydrous Silicate. Hemimorphite is generally associated with Zinc mines and often found in association with the mineral, Smithsonite. The two minerals were crushed to create the Zinc Oxide solution we all know as Calamine Lotion, a skin soothant. The Green and Blue varieties receive their coloration from trace amounts of Copper. Essentially mined out in the U.S., most modern day Hemimorphite comes from Mexico.
Found throughout the world, though more rarely found in gem grade. Hardness: 4.5-5.0 on the Moh's Hardness Scale.
