  • Privacy Notice: We consider personal privacy a very important issue. We have not and will never send unsolicited emails, nor use popups. This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for this website and applies to any and all information collected by this web site. Personal information is collected only with respect to orders placed on the site. All orders are placed over the secure (https) Americart server. We will never sell your information. Information Collection, Use, and Sharing: We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email, online order placement or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g. fulfill, verify and ship an order. Security: We take precautions to protect your information. Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser, or looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page when using the Americart Shopping Cart. All secure information customer address information taken via telephone is shredded in a timely manner. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

  • Standard shipping charges are $5.00 for First Class US Postal Service delivery (unlimited items) within the United States. Priority, Express, Fed-Ex 2-day and Fed-Ex Overnight options are available for an additional charge (calculated on checkout).

  • Special instruction Delivery messages such as "Leave on the porch behind the flower pot" or "put inside door if not home" will NOT be honored. The postal delivery agencies (US Postal, FedEx, etc) will not follow these instructions. If there are any issues with your order, we will attempt to contact you via the email address listed on the order. Please make sure we can respond to this email address, i.e., that it is a valid email address and that spam filters will not reject the message. If no response is received regarding an open issue within a reasonable time frame, we will cancel the order. Modifications to an order can be made before shipment, however, all modifications must be received in writing (via email) from the email address listed on the order.

  • We will declare a USPS First Class package lost if it has not been received in 30 days within the Continental US and 45 to Hawaii. (We have noticed an increase in the number of delayed packages. About 1 in 1000 unfortunate customers receive their shipments about 3 weeks late and tell us they have been "opened". We believe this to be a by-product of the increased security measures).

  • Orders deemed excessively risky will ONLY be shipped to the billing address listed on the order. Orders may be subject to verification, which could delay delivery. Large/high dollar orders and overnight/rush orders will only be shipped to the billing address.

  • International Customers. Please view our policies HERE.

  • We normally ship within 1-2 business days after the order payment is received and verified. (Note: Google Checkout customers may find it takes several days for Google to verify payment). Large orders or orders with custom work may require additional processing time. Checks sent in through the mail require a 2-4 week holding period to allow the check to clear..

  • All PayPal orders MUST be shipped to the PayPal CONFIRMED Address listed on the order. PayPal is very restrictive as to what information it will share with Merchants, therefore we REQUIRE shipment to the PayPal Confirmed Address.

  • Prices are subject to change without notice and are in U.S. currency.

  • We only display items we have in stock. However, sometimes an item in large demand may be on backorder.

  • RETURN POLICY: We will exchange the item for an equally valued item or refund the purchase price of the item (less shipping charges and gift wrapping) if received by us, in UNWORN, UNDAMAGED, resellable condition in the original packaging within 15 days of receipt. Basically, the items must be returned to us in the same condition they were shipped to you. 15 days allows you a week to look the item(s) over and a week for the item(s) to get back to us via First Class USPS mail. A restocking fee of 5% will be assessed on items purchased via Credit Card. Postage is non-refundable. We REQUIRE we be notified of defective items within THREE DAYS of delivery of the order. Return shipping on exchanges is billed at current rates. Damaged or visibly worn items cannot be accepted for return. Additional restocking fees will be assessed on items returned if the packaging is missing, damaged, at our discretion. We do not deal in "used jewelry" therefore item(s) returned outside the WARRANTY PERIOD are NOT accepted.. Items purchased between Thanksgiving and December 24th are returnable up until January 9th.     UNCLAIMED/REFUSED/BAD ADDRESS: If a package is returned to us for any reason, we will make an attempt to contact you via the email address listed on the order. Once you respond, your package will be shipped back to you at your specific direction and shipping will be billed to you again. Since there has been a shipping problem, we require re-shipment to the billing address listed on the form of payment. If it is still within our return period, you may choose to have your purchase(s) processed as a return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If we do not receive a response from you within 7 days, it is our policy to restock the ill returned goods. Please note that unclaimed packages will not be refunded once restocked. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.

  • Refunds are normally processed within 7-10 business days and can only be issued back to the original payment method. For instance, credit card refunds will be refunded back only to the credit card used for the purchase. If we are unable to issue a credit via the original payment method, the return can only be used for an in-store credit.

  • We aggressively pursue Fraud as this increases costs for everyone! We use Risk Assessment Software and reserve the right to decline order(s) or require shipment to the Billing Address at our discretion. Our policy is to fight all Chargebacks. Orders are digitially photographed before shipping. Modifications to orders must be received in writing from the email address listed on the order.

  • We reserve the right to ban any customer based upon: use of profanity, rudeness or harassing behavior to our staff, unauthorized credit card use, excessive returns, tampering with the website or order form or any other activity we deem inappropriate. We reserve the right to charge a 10% fee to customers who have been denied service and still attempt to place orders.

  • The Jewelry Industry recommends you restring your Jewelry at least once a year--more often if it is worn in water or worn daily. We will restring any jewelry purchased on our site for a 25% discount on labor, plus shipping and handling charges. Replacement stones will be charged on a per stone basis. Please contact us for an exact quote.

  • Our liability on any purchase is limited to and cannot exceed the purchase price.

  • We carry thousands of items and occassionally errors will occur. Therefore, prices and descriptions are subject to change without notice.
