Stichtite JewelryStichtite Jewelry

An exceedingly rare and obscure gemstone, Stichtite is mined in Tasmania and was discovered by Robert Stich. Stichtite is actually the pink-purple crystals embedded within the green Serpentine matrix. Valued for the stark color differences between the Serpentine and Stichtite crystals as well as the extreme rarity of the gemstone, Stichtite is a soft gemstone and should be worn with care.
Mystical Properties: Stichtite is said to be the colors of the Pleiadeans. Pleiadeans are thought to be spirit beings or perhaps extra-terrestrials from the Taurean Stars who sometimes visit mankind and are thought to be helping us avoid "self destruction". Stichtite, is therefore thought to help us communicate with these beings.

Sometimes mentioned as being helpful with skin issues such as preventing stretch marks or where skin elasticity is involved.

Thought to be a gemstone of Sagittarius, the greenish-yellow coloring is thought to increase rational thought and help us examine our purpose in life. Sometimes mentioned as being a gemstone of Virgo.

Associated with the Heart Chakra, Stichtite is thought to bring balance to the Heart Chakra and be helpful in dealing with broken hearts and those stubbornly holding onto grief.

Healing Properties: Grief. Rational thought and reasoning. Skin elasticity.

Scientific Properties: Composed of a complex Chromium Carbonate, Stichtite is a secondary mineral created from the weathering of the nearby Chromium bearing Serpentines. Most Stichtite comes from Tasmania. Hardness: 1-2 on the Moh's Hardness Scale
