Used by the Canadian Indians in Medicine rituals to help the spirit guides access the healing power of the Sun. When contact with the spirit guides was successful, the stone was said to glow a bright gold.

Scientific Properties: Composed of oligioclase feldspar. The reflections of light are caused by inclusions of hematite or goethite within the stone.
